When comes the time to create your images for your projects it can be hard to imagine the workload that this represents. It is for this reason that we setted up a small explanatory video for you to better understand the reality of your artists. This is how we create a CGI!

Step 1: Ideation

Everything starts from an idea. This is the first and most important step! During this one you have the possibility to create or ask for sketches or moodboards to determine the art direction of your illustration. Here are some important questions that you might ask yourself during the ideation phase: what inspires you? What would you like to see? How do you want your product to be presented? Etc. In case of a dead end, do not hesitate to ask for ideas and advice to our team.

Step 2: Creating the environment

Then it is our turn! From your moodboard, from your ideas, we get to work to create a CGI. We will build the environment from scratch! From the floor to the ceiling, the furniture and the background, we won’t miss any steps. You have an infinite choice of accessory items that you can choose from, or provide us with. If you already own the 3D models of your product, we can use your .STEP, .STP, .OBJ, .DWG, .MAX, .SAT formats without any problem. Otherwise we can also use your physical samples to create 3D models and textures.

Step 3: Effects and light

Very present in the animations, effects like water, rain, fire etc. add a lot of realism. It’s these kind of little details that give a completely different, almost alive, feeling to a 3D atmosphere. Do not hesitate to ask, our team will be happy to integrate in your environments.
Then we can change the light, would you prefer an environment of day, evening or night, direct or diffuse lighting and so on.

Step 4: the finishing touch

Once the environment is created, it is the moment we can modify the last details. We can change colors, materials, textures and some models to make the picture more than perfect. We can add or remove elements, arrange them differently, while keeping the same basic atmosphere.
