Here is an original 3D imaging project signed Kub. This is a superb yellow BMW i8. Our team’s initial intention was to create a rendering of the car as if it were in a traditional photography set-up. This car, a BMW i8, is an elegant hybrid sports vehicule. It was perfect for rendering as it shows very beautiful shapes and curves. A diffuse lighting, emmited by the studio gently emphasizes them. The image also shows a cold, warm contrast between the car and its environment, paying full attention to the model. This yellow car steals the gleaming ice blue walls.

Creating original content

For the Kub team, creating original content allows us a lot. This is a golden opportunity to showcase diversity in our 3D imaging and animation services. We sometimes take advantage of a moment of respite from production to create images that go out of our way. That’s why we created this rendering of BMW i8. It is also an opportunity to expand our knowledge to enable us to offer you more and more high quality services. We are proud of the evolution of our team over the years.

With regard to what the BMW i8 project has allowed us to do, we wanted to show that even if we work with 3D, we can simulate the techniques and aesthetics of traditional photography. In this case, the car seems to be on the set of a photo shoot. It’s the best of both worlds! No need for the vehicle, no need for the studio or expensive photography equipment! Everything is virtual! With 3D imagery you can go for renderings with a very expensive look without having the invoice attached to it!
