We get out of our habits here somewhat by creating an outdoor environment. This sunrise on the lake was full of challenges for the Kub Studio team! We have integrated into it a real person that we photographed in our studio. It is by combining traditional and digital techniques that we have managed to create this Pelican image.

The technique

What is interesting with this image is the person inside. To do this, we have carried out a character integration. We had to make a rendering of a fisherman on his boat. We needed a man in his thirties with all his equipment, sitting with his hand back to steer his boat. The problem ? The demand was a little too sharp to find the perfect 3D model. Realism being crucial for this project, we had to use ingenuity.

The solution ? Studio photography! Indeed, we asked for the help of an actor, we rented the equipment. For him, it was about taking the right position. For us, we had to configure the studio lighting well to simulate the light of the environment, position the camera so that the angle is identical, then integrate the whole into the rendering.

The sunrise over the lake was basically a little more complicated process. The advantage was that it meets a very specific request!
